easy toddler breakfast ideas to make ahead

My daughter is getting into the toddler years π . This means all of my brainpower has been used to come up with recipes and researching ideas on what to feed her bottomless stomach. Needless to say, it has been DRAINING.
Now, I do have the privilege of staying home with her the majority of the week so making food isn’t the issue. However, on the days where I do have to head out or I don’t feel like cooking, it leaves me stressed out. I decided to start saving all the recipes I’ve tried or come across that I want to try and posting them on this blog as a resource for those who don’t want to search for hours for the perfect healthy meal for their little one (or themselves π).
Here are some easy toddler breakfast ideas to make ahead:
Spinach Banana Pancakes
I am always on the hunt to find healthy recipes that incorporate hidden veggies and this one peaked my interest! My daughter LOVES these pancakes and they smell so good! The recipe can make about 12 mini pancakes (I use an ice cream scoop to measure the batter out), but sometimes it makes 8 pancakes depending on how you portion the sizes. I like to make these in advance and put them in the freezer and just heat up in the microwave for about 35-40 seconds or until warm.

Strawberry Banana Muffins (Gluten & Nut Free, Vegan)
If you’re toddler is tired of pancakes, you can try muffins! These don’t contain veggies but if you wanted to add spinach, I’m sure you could! You can pair these with a protein and yogurt or fruit.

French toast banana bites
These are so quick and easy to make while still being a healthy breakfast for your little one. Pair it with some berries and greek yogurt or egg or sausage. You just need 2 pieces of bread, a banana, one egg and your done. You can add some cinnamon and vanilla extract for some more sweetness.
Mini Egg Bites with Cheese & Broccoli
If you’re looking for a more savory breakfast with hidden veggies, these may be what you are looking for! Quinoa and broccoli are the stars in this recipe and are a great healthy option for breakfast or to go with any meal.

Easy egg bites
These egg bites are super easy and quick to whip up and they are perfect for the whole family! You could even add some veggies for those extra nutrients without your kids even noticing π

I hope these ideas help make your mornings a little easier! Donβt forget to check out the blog for even more quick and delicious recipes made for busy moms!
